This was a spontaneous buy and it turns out to be the best shoes.

I have a medium width foot, but a narrow heel and thin/narrow ankle. The Koru base, especially with laces, works well for me and these are no exception. These are an especially good style for my feet because the bootie can be tightened around the ankle with the laces making them extremely stable and preventing slipping in the heel. The leather of these is extremely soft and flexible, comfortable right out of the box. They look a little orthopedic from the front as the black is quite plain, but the embroidery saves them from really looking like old lady shoes. These are the most comfortable shoes I own.
